How to access your results on the Student Portal
To access your GCSE or GCE results, please access the Student Portal HERE.
Students will require their DESC username (everything before @ in their DESC email address) and their unique password to access the student portal/app. The student portal password is set by DESC and cannot be updated by students. Please note this is not the same password that students have created to access the DESC network.
Students should check their DESC email account for their unique student portal password. Please search for the email titled Your Student Portal Password and Instructions for the Student Portal and App. This was last sent to students on 23rd June 2019.
For full details on how to access the student portal or download the student app, please follow the link below.
If students are unable to recall the password to access their DESC email account, they can reset this via the website https://iforgot.descdubai.com/ For further information please follow the link HERE.
If students are unable to access their student portal credentials, please email email@example.com detailing their full name, form group and the problem they are facing.
General Enquiries About Results (EAR) Procedures
If you did not get the grades you were expecting or are unhappy with your examination results, in the first instance, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions HERE.
It is recommended that candidates consult with the relevant subject teacher or Head of Department upon return to school before proceeding with a review of marking request. The deadline for submitting EAR requests is Thursday 19 September so there is plenty of time to consult with a member of staff.
Students wishing to proceed with a review of marking can collect an EAR form from the Examinations Office. For students not returning to DESC, requests can be made via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Members of the Senior Leadership Team are available on Results Day for consultation for those students where a place at university is at risk.
As it is possible that a mark could change (go up or down) as a result of an EAR, the student must provide their consent by signing the EAR form to authorise the service. If the request is via email, the email request will act as the consent. Fees vary per service and are listed on the relevant consent form.
